The main purpose of this website is to share my knowledge on personal growth.
Ever since I was little I took apart my toys to understand their functioning. This curiosity has always remained. Once some new theory or model comes along, I love to dive right in so that I understand its potential impact.
My interests vary greatly, resulting in a broad spectrum of subjects to research. A lot of this knowledge comes from books I read, but training and experience have also made me into the person I am today.
Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do.JOHANN WOLFGANG VON GOETHE
I want to share my knowledge on personal growth
As the quote above indicates, the only knowledge that has any value at all is applied knowledge. This blog is my way of applying my knowledge on personal growth. Just so we are clear; this website does not serve a commercial goal and I do not make any money from it (in fact, I invest in it).
Don’t expect to find any insights here that you can’t find anywhere else. That’s not the point. My goal is to explain existing knowledge so that it is accessible to a broad audience. One of the ways I attempt to achieve this is by illustrating the theory with my personal experiences and viewpoints. Let’s be honest, how often have you read something that totally energized you, only to look back now and admit you never applied this new knowledge.
Why write a blog?
The reason for starting this blog in the first place was to gain more insights into the subjects I write about. Putting my thoughts on (digital) paper, helps me make new connections. After all, teaching is the highest form of learning.
The subjects I write about bring me a lot of growth personally. I am driven to help others become the best version of themselves. The highest goal achievable is when you as a reader get as much energy from applying the improvements in your life as I do.
Furthermore, it became clear to me that there is a demand for more in-depth information on these subjects among my colleagues, friends, and family. Some of these people got so enthusiastic and motivated to really apply this knowledge, which in turn gave me a lot of energy and motivation as well. This is what I aim to achieve for many more people.
My goal is to help others achieve more and keep growing as a person by making one small change at a time. My initial focus is on personal development, but I presume that in the future this scope will broaden.
What does NABL stand for?
What does NABL stand for? This is a question I get asked frequently. The name has two pillars, one aimed at you as a reader and a personal one.
For you, as a reader, NABL stands for ‘enable’ (NABL is thus also pronounced as enable). This to me is a powerful way of stating the goals of NABL. I want to enable you as a reader to achieve more and reach your full potential to go through life with even more energy.
The personal part of NABL is that these four letters are my initials – L.B.A. Nordin – in backwards order.
Do you want to keep working on your personal growth?
